Mandate to indult and defend Richard de Clare, canon of Pencrich (Penkridge), in the diocese of Coventry and Lichfield, or his proctor, in possession of one of the three churches of Hawyk, Joghel, and Dunmowe, which he, together with a portion in Cruk, in the dioceses of Glasgow, Cloyne, and London, has held without papal dispensation, and touching two of which he has been dispensed, he first resigning the said church. To Master Henry de Schorne, archdeacon, canon and prebendary of Hereford, value 27/. Dispensation to accept two additional benefices, value 60 marks, To Richard de Multon, successively rector of Landimer, in the diocese of St. Davids, value 8 marks, and of Loutherin, in the same diocese, of like value. Dispensation to retain the same. To John de Salferde, successively rector of Rogsate, in the diocese of Llandaff, and by commendam of Radstoke, in that of 6 CLEMENT V. 85 Bath and Wells, value together 26 marks. Dispensation to retain the same. To John de Capella, successively rector of Ambresdon, and of Elmeswelle, in the diocese of Isncoln, the value of the latter being 40 marks. Dispensation to retain the same. To Richard de Clare, subdeacon. Dispensation to retain his eanonry of Pencrich and other benefices (as above), on resigning one of the three churches he holds. To Thomas de Fransham Parva, called de Stonwe, rector of St. Peter's, Old Lenny, in the diocese of Norwich, value 12 marks. Dispensation to accept an additional benefice, value 20/. To Robert de Appelby, successively rector of Brunham, in the diocese of Carlisle, value 20 marks, and of Bolton in Allerdale, in the same diocese, value 18/. Dispensation to retain the same. To tie Gilbertine prior and convent of St. Mary's, Bolington.
