Acknowledgment of the king's indebtedness to E. archbishop of Canterbury in 4,400 marks payable to him or his successors before the octaves of St. Martin, in the nineteenth year, on pain of the whole of his land of England being placed under interdict by the bishops of Bath, Durham, Salisbury and Coventry to compel the payment of the said sum and of any expenses incurred by the delay.
