Grant to Margaret late the wife of John de Brausa that she shall not be distrained to marry so long as she will live without a husband ; on condition that, if she will marry, she may not do so without licence of the king and assent of his council. Vivian de Roshale, William de Albo Monasterio, Robert de Wudeton ond Hugh the Forester, assessors and collectors of the fortieth in the county of Salop, by the king's order, have delivered in the wardrobe at Wenlac, on Monday before St. Barnabas, to Peter de Rivallis, 106J. of the same fortieth. By the said P. Royal assent to the election of Alan, sometime prior of Sulye, to be abbot of Tavistok ; and mandate to the bishop of Exeter to do his part in this behalf.
