Grant also that he and his heirs shall take, for the life of Richard, 50/. out of the issues of the customs and subsidies of the port of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, by the hands of the collectors or the farmers of the same, until the latter rent fall in, and shall have the keeping of one part of the cocket seal until then. In case the customs and subsidies prove insufficient for payment of the 50/. the king grants that the deficiency shall be made good out of the issues of the customs and subsidies in the port of Hertilpol or of Kyngeston-upon- Hull.
