Writ to the sheriff of York. Langel . 23 April 13 Edward I. Inquisition in full county : Henry son of John de Neweland, imprisoned York, killed John son of Thomas the reeve (prepositi : le Provost in writ) Estrington by misadventure. They were playing with other boys in the of Houed ; Henry threw a stick at a mark (ad quandam metam) and John on the head, under the ear (sub auditu), of which he at once died. boys were under 9 years of age.
