Writ to the sheriff of Worcester to enquire who robbed Robert Alexander Quarel, Henry Sturmy s men, on the king's highway, 25 marks 10s. of Henry's money, and afterwards killed them. Clarendon. March 9 Edward I. [1281.] Inquisition : John de Asscherugg , Robert Olyfard and William le Scot them and took away the money and Robert's horse to John's house Asscherugg . No man procured them, but Thomas, William and Robert, of William de Barndel, were consenting, as appeared by William son William going to Scotland with William le Scot immediately afterwards. 2245.
