Writ to the sheriff of Nottingham. Yakesle. 18 March Edward I. [1293.] Inquisition : Tuesday the morrow of St. Bartholomew. Four shillings of rent in Screveton, which John de Goussull, who was outfor felony, held, have not been a year and a day in the king's hand, immediately after the said John committed felony Robert Bardolf the said rent into his hand, and has held it for three whole years. The said John held the said rent of Walter de Goussull, his brother, and said Robert ought to answer the king for the year and day. C. Ing. Mise. File 52. (17.) 1610.
