Order to deliver to Nicholos de Jevelton the manor of Cherbergh, co. Dorset, together with the advowson of the church thereof and not to intermeddle further with the other lands which are held of Walter Harang, of Chalvedon, restoring the issues of the said manor and lands, as on its being found by inquisition taken by Ralph de Middelneye, late escheator in those counties that Juliana de Paunton at her death held no lands in chief _in her demesne as of fee but that she held the said manor and advowson for life of the king in chief, by the service of a horse shoe yearly, with remainder to Nicholas, by a fine levied in the king's court, and a messuage and 2 virgates of land in Wotton Glaunvyle, co. Dorset, for life of Walter, by the service of a rose yearly, and the king took the fealty of Nicholas for the manor and adyowson on 10 January last, the king ordered Ralph to deliver the said manor and advowson to Nicholas and not to intermeddle further with the other lands, as is found by inspection of the chancery rolls, and Ralph was amoyed from his office before he had executed this order, as the king has learned. : 14. To John de Ellerker, receiver of the subsidy of the ninth of sheaves, Tower, Jambs and fleeces in all the counties this side Trent.
