Order to cause Ralph and Margaret, his wife, to have seisin of the following lands, were taken into the king's hands by Brother Robert de Valle late escheator in co. Chester, by reason of the death of Urian de Petro, tenant in chief, Margaret's late husband, as the king learns taken by the said Robert that Margaret was enfeoffed with Urian of a sixth of the manors of Pyketon and Acton, an of the barony of Nantwich (de Wyco Malb ), an eighteenth of of Cuvel, an eighteenth of the sergeanty of the barony aforesaid, eighteenth of the ferries of Bruneshurst and Swanesbach, to have hold to the heirs of their two bodies, with reversion in default of to the heirs of Urian, and that Margaret was in full seisin with Urian until the day of his death, which lands are held of the chief by knight service; and the king has taken Ralph's fealty for lands.
