the treasurer and barons of the exchequer, and to the chamberlains, de Bures has shewn the king that the king is indebted to him in 13s. 4d. for recompense for his horses lost in the late king's service and for his robes, as appears by two bills, one under the seal de Okham and the other under the seal of Robert de Wodehous, the king's cofferer, in his possession, and he has besought the king to cause to be paid to him in full satisfaction of this sum: the king therefore them to see the said bills, and if they ascertain that the said 18s. 4d. are still owing to John, to cause 1004. to be paid to him out of treasury in full payment, By p.s.
