Order to deliver to son of Robert. de Malo Lacu the manors of Hexthorp and Rosyngton, as the king learns by inquisition taken by the escheator that at his death held no lands in his demesne as of fee, but that he held aforesaid for the term of his life of the grant of Peter de Malo deceased, and that Peter de Malo Lacu, son and heir of Peter, granted the manors should remain after Robert's death to the aforesaid Robert of Robert for life, the king's licence for this having been obtained, so after the death of Robert the son the manors ought to remain to the Peter son of Peter, and that Robert de Malo Lacu attorned himself of manors to Robert his son by virtue of the grant and licence aforesaid, that the manors are held of the king by the service of an eighth part of grand serjeanties, which serjeanties are to find the king two armed men Welsh war for forty days if there be war there, and the king has the fealty of Robert the son for the said manors.
