Mandate to the twenty-four sworn to keep the peace in the town of Oxford and to all the burgesses of that town to be intendant unto the mayor and reeves of that town in keeping the peace there, taking care that justice be shown to all complainants, poor as well as rich, great and small, and to behave in showing justice to everyone, so that the king may not by their default have to take the town into his hands.
