Promise to pay at the Exchequer within the quinzaine of Michaelmas to John Maunsel, provost of Beverley, Peter Chaceporc, archdeacon Wells, Master William de Kilkenni, archdeacon of Coventry, John de Philip Lovel, Edward de Westm(onasterio] and Henry de Wengham, which Bernard Prosperini, Frederick Orlandi, James Offraduc, Deutigardi and Geoffrey Keymer, for themselves and their fellows, and merchants of Siena, Maynettus Spini, Spinestus Simonetti, Gwibertiand Girard Ricobaldi, paying as well forthemselves as for Cambii, Hugh Simonetti, Karlinus Gwiberti, Reynald Huberti others their fellows, Deutagutus and Loterius, brothers, sons of and Walter Marsilii, their fellows, citizens and merchants of received as a loan, and which they paid to the king and he to Peter de Sabaudia, who is going with him to the Holy Land, in of his pilgrimage, of which money the king vouches and protests that has been paid: and the king will hold the said John, Peter, Master John, Philip, Edward and Henry harmless. If he die leaving money unpaid, he hereby binds his heir and executors for the payment
