to William Barnet, Roger Chertesey, Alexander Cheyne Thomas Colage, serjeant at arms, reciting that because on behalf of Cornyk, master of a ship called la Marie of Conkernewe in the king has learned that he in coming to England with the ship laden with 810 quarters of salt of Bay, 5 pipes and 1 hoggesof wine of Rochelle, 1 piece of linen cloth and other goods and to the value of 107/. 8:., trusting in the peace made of late the king and his kinsman, the duke of Brittany, and in entering of the Thames towards Rouchestre was taken by two balingers called Martynet, whereof John Roger is master, and le Anyuille, William Wodell is master, and brought to Queneburgh and there wére sold, they are to make restitution herein.
