Commission to William de Bereford, Hervey de Staunton and Gilbert de Toutheby, to enquire touching the report made to the king in the Parliament at York, that John le Little, William Reyner, Henry de Amodesham, John Baldewyne, Richard de Wirmyngham, Geoffrey Palmer, John de Badburgham, John de Stotfold, Walter de Wechyngham, Thomas de Eyton, John de Amodesham, Roger Ode, and Richard de Pontefracto, cappers (capellarii) of Fletestrete in the city of London, under colour of certain letters, which they lately obtained from the king, have for some time prevented and interfered with the manufacture and import of caps, whereby the king has lost the customs payable to him, and further maintain illegal confederacies for that purpose.
