York, viz. by Adam de Helperthorpe, William le Carter, the elder, John Munkeman, Henry de Roston, Roger Ughtred, Robert de Helperthorpe, Adam de Semer, Reginald 14. 17. 15. 16. le Carter, John son of Hugh, John de Haterbergh, Henry Carter, Hugh de Wandesford, William le Corder, Thomas son of John, Adam Tucker, Robert Tucker, William de Kypaux, William Cutte, John de Semer, John de Godesalve, Adam de Helperthorpe, the younger, Adam Carter, Robert de Saxton, William Gaudibus, Alexander Porter, Robert Cutte, John de Overton, William Coke of Semer, John de Gillyng , John de Sewerby, Robert le Lymebrenher and William SBougher, who frequently took and carried away wreck of sea and other goods pertaining to the king, and rescued from Robert Wauweyn, the king's bailiff, and Robert de Eston, clerk, John de Whiteby, Robert Mole, John de Clifford, William de Neuby, John Williamesman de Neuby and Alan le Shereman, the king's serjeants and ministers, goods seized by them for the king's services, rents, customs and debts and fines and executions of judgments, prevented the said Robert from holding the king's court in the town of Scardeburgh and also prevented him and the king's serjeants from executing their office, liberated John Crabbe a prisoner for divers offences, permitted wool, hides and wool-fells to leave the port of the town without the customs being paid thereon, detained corn which ought to have been conveyed to the town of Berwick-upon-T weed, &c.
