Grant, with the assent of the Parliament at York, to Roger Damory and Elizabeth his wife, the king's niece, of the manor of Sandhall, co. York, which the king held of the grant of Gerard Salvayn, the manor of Halghton, co. Oxford, which Edmund de Cornubia, sometime earl of Cornwall, acquired in fee and which he afterwards granted for life Bartholemew de Kancia, upon whose death it fell into the king's hands, and the manor of Faukeshall, co. Surrey, which Richard de Geresey formerly held for life of the king's grant, to hold to them and the heirs of his y together with knights fees, advowsons of churches, &c. to the value of 50 marks of land & year in part satisfaction of land to the value of 100 marks a year, with which the king had promised to provide the said Roger.
