Appointment, during pleasure, of John Mautravers the younger, and William de Whitefeld, to have the custody of the Cistercian abhey of Bynedon, in the diocese of Salisbury, now grievously burdened with debt for want of good rule and for other causes; to receive the issues, rents and profits of the lands of the said abbey, and to apply the same by view of the abbot and more discreet members of the abbey in discharge of the debt; reserving a reasonable maintenance for the abbot, convent and such officers as are necessary for the fit rule of the abbey.
