Writ of aid until the quinzaine of Easter directed to sheriffs, bailiffs, ministers and all other lieges for John le Taillur, master of the king's ship la Katerine, with which he is to proceed to Scotland to harass the king's eneinies. The king has given him power to impress mariners and other men fit to bear arms to man his ship and every assistance is to be rendered to him when selecting his crew. By K., on the information of W. de Melton, The like for the under-mentioned, viz. John Lamb, master of the king's ship la Margcrete. Henry de la Novele Hethe, master of one of the king's barges. John Arnold, master of another of the king's barges. Assignment to Manentus Francisci and his fellows, merchants of the society of the Bardi of Florence, of all issues of the custom on wool, hides and wool-fells in the ports of Gernemuthe and Ipswich to be received by them until they shall be fully satisfied in the sum of 458/., in which the king is indebted to them.
