Mandate to the mayor, sheriffs, aldermen, citizens, and entire commonalty of the city of London, under forfeiture of life and limb, to keep the city faithfully for the use of the king and his heirs, so that no prejudice may arise to the king and no harm to them, or the city, in consequence of any meetings, or assemblies of the prelates, curls and bar ons, or others in their city.
