Grant to Robert Hastanges of the marriage of John, son and heir of Godfrey de Melsa, tenant in chief, or in ease of his death, of that of the next heir, in lieu of 100 marks eranted to him to equip himself better for the king's service, and as a recompense for the loss incurred by him through the king having taken into his hands the lands of Bathket and Rathkeu in Se otland, held by him by grant of the Jate king, and also for the custody of the town of Kyngeston-upon-Hulle aud manor of Myton lately granted to him but subsequently granted away to another person.
