Appointment of William Martyn, who is going to Gascony on the king's service, to the custody, during pleasure, of the Jands late of Hugh Luvel, deceased, tenant in chief, which custody the king had granted to John de Soules, but taken into his hands again for divers causes; and he is to have the issues arising therefrom and the goods of the said custody if they belong to the king. . 151 Writ of aid, directed to the sheriff and others of the counties of Kent and Sussex, for John de Burne and John de Maydenstan, appointed to purvey, against the king's arrival at Wynchelse on All Saints next, corn and other necessaries in those counties to be sent in the next fleet which crosses.
