Pardon to Jobn de Hothum, bishop of Ely, to whom Eleanor ste the wife of Hugh le Despenser the younger, gave, by deed, the castle of Kilkenny in Ireland and her other manors and lands in that country, with knights fees, advowsons, liberties, royalties and other appurtenances, all which are said to be held in chief, to hold, for life, at a yearly rent of 100/., and afterwards by a second deed remitted the said rent, for acquiring the same without licence ; and licence for him to retain them.
