Commission of oyer and terminer to William de Bereford, John de Foxle, John de Stonore, and Robert de Morby, on complaint by John de Bloxham that Thomas son of Roger de Beaufoo and Roger his brother, Roger son of Guy de Wyginton, Robert son of John de Trillowe, John de Leye, Edmund Flambard, John son of Ralph de Bereford, Walter son of Ralph de Sutton of Donstowe, Thomas de Hynton, John Wodeward, Richard le Faukener, Thomas son of John Baldon, Thomas Eleyne, Lovekin Bruyn of Bereford St. John, Walter atte Grove, John Ricard, Adam de Bobenhull, Robert son of Walter de Molendino, Richard le Thresshere, and Roger de Roppesle with others entered his dwelling-place at Bereford St. John, co. Oxford, broke the walls, hedges, doors, windows, and dove-cot there, and carried away doves and other goods there and at Bereford St. Michael, assaulted his men who were in his said dwelling-place, raised the hue and cry upon them, ejected them therefrom and pursued them to the town of Bereford St. Michael, besieged them in houses of the said John there for a great space, broke the houses and assaulted them.
