Confirmation of a grant to William de Carliolo (Karliolo) by William de The king had granted to the latter the custody of the lands late of de Ros of Kirkeby, tenant in chief, in his hands by reason of the of the heir, to hold until the heir shall be of full age, with its fees and advowsons of churches, &c., together with the marriage of heir, as is contained in the letters patent. By virtue of this concession de Sulle granted to the said William de Carliolo the custody of two of the said lands of Cargowe, late of the said William de Ros, together the knights fees and advowsons of churches appertaining to the in that town, to hold until the heir should be of full age, as appears a writing under his seal.
