The bishop obtained papal letters to the bishop of Dunblane and his fellow judges against the said H. alleging that he refused to render account of what he had received for the fabric of the church of St. Andrews, so that H. being absent on the prior's business, was excommunicated as contumacious, and sentences were issued of suspension against the sub-prior and chapter and of interdict against the church. These sentences are to be annulled, and the legate is to hear and decide the cause. [Theiner, 17.]
