Richard and Thomas de Grimeston, and on John and Hugh de Thornton, of the diocese of York; on two persons chosen by Thomas, bishop of Hereford; on two persons chosen by Richard, abbot of St. Albans; on John called Wallensis, of the dioceso of Lincoln; by the prior of Sempyngham on three persons nominated by Edmund, earl of Kent; and by Simon, archbishop of Canterbury, on four persons. Jan. To Patrick called Persim, who in ignorance of the law accepted the rectory of St. Mary's, Forest, in the diocese of Glasgow, value 10/. and held it for eleven years, without being ordained. Dispensation to hold a benefice. Six years fruits of St. Mary's are to be paid to the papal camera by next Michaelmas.
