Mandate, on the signification of the bishop of Hereford, to Peter Sapiti, and to the archdeacon of Northampton to compel certain diocesans and abbots and priors to observe the statute by which the abbots and priors are bound to receive faulty subjects transferred from other monasteries, and the bishops to enforce their reception. To Adam, bishop of Hereford. Faculty to visit and correct the dean and chapter, vicars, priests and clerks of the choir, notwithstanding any custom to the contrary, or the compromise made in the time of the late bishops by Richard, cardinal of St. Angelo s, the archdeacon of Canterbury, and Master Hugh de Mortuo Mari.
