Confirmation of his benefices. At the age of fourteen he obtained in commendam the church of St. Gregory, Bernham, in the diocese of Norwich, value 20 marks, and at the age of twenty-two was ordained subdeacon and instituted to the rectory, and held it for many years without being ordained priest; he then obtained the secular priory of Danewelle, in the diocese of Coventry and Lichfield, to which the church of Bertone is annexed, value 40 marks, 5 CLEMENT V. val -and also a canonry and prebend of St. Mary's, Stafford, value 20s. He is to give 20 marks to his benefices within two years. To Geoffrey de Cave.
