Oct. 1304, the petition of John de Bellocampo, whose ancestors founded said chapel, and who, on the resignation of it by Henry de granted to it lands and the patronage of the parish value 20/. for the maintenance of five priests, those being named Reginald de Meneketon, provost, Henry Thomas de Ateberi, John Champion, William de Septon, part of their duties being to pray for the souls of father of John de Bellocampo, Robert his brother, Cicely mother, and John his son, and to distribute certain doles. property specified is a moiety of the tithes of six acres and half in Shepton Beauchamp, called Standine, between the land and that of John de Lawerence, of three acres above between the lord's land and that of John Jonkyn, and two acres in Walhecline, between the land of Geoffrey and John de Lecalewe, and of all the ancient of the lord of Shepton, except of five acres between land of the said lord called Middelforlong, and of three called Netbermedeforlong, near Conpton waterway, and three acres called Froggelmere, near the land of Richard by that of Robert Farinan, and of a half acre at the of the said Froggelmere. The provost is to receive (Churchscot) from John Jonkyn, Hugh Homlikkare, Dreng, smith, Richard Tuyte, John Cros, Roger de John Dreng, and Walter Atteferme; and also from Cros, Walter Stouble, William Dring, John Homlikkare, Love, Richard Prankard, Robert son of Hugh, and de Crich. The provost-and the other priests are to have messuage which Roger Oliverii held, and the advowson of parish chureh of Stok.
