Commission to William Namelyn and Henry de Notingham to by a Leicestershire jury into the slaying of Richard son of William le (Molendinarii in ing.) of Blacfordeby, who is said to have been killed stealing by night from certain houses at Bracethorp in the manor of la Zusche by William de Kiselingbur and Robert de Bukervill , servants Henry de Bray, escheator south of Trent, to whom he had committed lands at Bracethorp on the death of Roger la Zusche, a tenant in chief. 14 January 14 Edward I. [1286.] Inquisition at Segrave Friday after St. Gregory 14 Edward I[15 March 1286] : came by night to Brastorp and entered a cowshed (boveriam) in custody of William and Robert by night and stole a tub (alveum), value and William and Robert pursuing him as a felon, since he refused to be killed him by misadventure with a sword.
