Writ to the sheriff of Stafford to enquire as to the death of Thomas who, while lodging in the abbey of Crokesden, was wounded in a affray between grooms in the stable and afterwards died, in consequence which the abbot has dismissed his whole household as though they had been of, or charged with the death.
