Writ to the sheriff of Salop to enquire as to liberties used by Ralph in the manor of Aylbrighton, which John Tregoz, lately deceased, from the said Ralph; the said manor, after the death of the said come to John la Warre, the king's yeoman (vallettus), as and one of the heirs of the said John Tregoz. Saturday after St. Barnabas. de Picheford, sometime lord of the manor of Albrighton, had a weekly Tuesday and a fair for three days every year viz. on the eve and 518 INQUISITIONS day of the Translation of St. Thomas the Martyr and on the day following and view of frank pledge twice a year of all his burgesses of the manor, and not of the other tenants; he had, and reasonably used, all these liberties, and he and his ancestors used them from time beyond memory.
