Joan late the wife of Reynold son of Peter holds of the king in chief 4 bovates Midsomeres Norton and an eighth of that hundred by inheritance after the of William de Fortibus her father, by knight service, and holds nothing in fee in that county. The tenements are of the yearly value of 40s. Inquisition : Luton, co. Bedford. 13 October. The said Joan likewise holds 6 bovates in Luton, a quarter of a watermill, of a view of frank pledge, and of the market toll of that town, by after the death of Maud de Kyme her mother, and holds nothing in fee in that county.
