Writ to the sheriff of Salop. Westminster. 25 November Edward I. [1293.] Inquisition : Saturday the morrow of the Circumcision. [1294.] A messuage and half a virgate of land in La Lowe by Farnlowe, which John of La Lowe, who was hanged for felony, held, have been a year and a in the hand of Edmund de Mortuo Mari by reason of his liberty of Clebury and he still holds the same, and ought to answer the king therefor he has a warrant. The said John held the tenements of Simon son of Ralph de la Lowe. C. Ing. Misc. File 54. (31.) 1676.
