Commission to Ralph de Hengham. Witness, Edmund, earl of Westminster. 26 November 15 Edward I. [1287.] of venire facias in pursuance to the sheriff of Surrey. : Shaldeford. The octave of Hilary. de Guldeford, sometime parson of Shaldeford, acquired a fair from John to be held in the churchyard of Stratford which owing to the increase population was afterwards held without the churchyard.
