Commitment to Geoffrey Rokkell, Thomas Oskyn and Peter Upchare, by mainprise of William Mountagu of the county of Somerset, gentilman , and William Kene of Mertok, co. Somerset, gentilman , of the keeping of the manor of Overhall in Bures, with the park there, co. Suffolk, which came to the king's hands by the death of Elizabeth late the wife of Robert Lovell, who held of the king in chief on the day of her death, and by reason of the minority of the heir of John late earl of Arundell, who is the kinsman and heir of the said Elizabeth and within age and in the king's ward ; to hold the same from the time of the death of Elizabeth until the full age of the said heir, at a yearly farm of as much as may be agreed upon between them and the treasurer by Christmas next ; with clause touching maintenance of houses, enclosures and buildings, and support of charges. By bill of the treasurer.
