Grant for life to Hugh le Despenser, son of Hugh le Despense earl of Winchester, of the keeping of the castle, town and ba of Bristol, at the rent of 210/. a year at the Exchequer in moieties at Michaelmas and Easter. By K Grant to William de Ferariis of the county of Devon, for a fine 100 marks which he will pay at the Exchequer at Michaelmas nex of the marriage of John, son and heir of Nicholas de Ferers, tena in chief, a minor in the king's ward ; and if the said heir die befor his coming of age and marriage, his heir being a minor, the sa William shall have the marriage of that heir, and so from heir to he : By bill of the treasur . 349
