Order to Robert de Clifford, justice of the forest on this side Trent, to deliver John Deyvill from the prison of Notingham wherein he is detained for a trespass which he is said to have done in the said forest, if he find mainpernors to mainprise to have him before the king at Lincoln on Christmas next to do and receive what the king shall then by his council ordain ; and to be in person at Lincoln or to send some one sufficiently instructed in his affairs to certify the king of the causes and other things touching the said John and the said forest, for which he was imprisoned, that the king may cause to be done what shall seem good to him and his council to be done ; and to have there the names of the mainpernors and this writ.
