Order to amove the king's hand from the lands of Richard Talebot, keeper of Berwickupon-Trent and justice of Lothian (Laudon ), restoring the issues thereof to him, and permitting him to dispose freely of the same, as he has besought the king to cause this to be done, as he is staying in those parts in the king's service, and although he is incurring great expenses there, yet his lands from the profit whereof and of his lands in England, such charges ought to be sustained, have been taken into the king's hands, by reason of the king's writ concerning the sufficient munition of castles and fortalices [as at page 423 above]. e collectors of customs in the port of London.
