To John Petyt of Trenerth and Serlo Wyse, taxers and collectors co. Cornwall of the triennial tenth and fifteenth granted the laity. Order to deliver to Dinus Forcetti and Peter and their fellows, merchants of the society of the Bardi, of the money of the tenth and fifteenth granted for years in co. Cornwall, if the king ordered them to do so writ of the exchequer, in part satisfaction of a great sum of money which the king is bound to them, receiving from the merchants tallies which the king caused to be levied in discharge of John Serlo, as the king wishes the payment to be accelerated, because merchants have agreed to lend him that sum for his affairs when have received it.
