William Chauncy acknowledges that he owes to Brian Burdon 5 marks ; be levied, in defauJt of payment, of his lands and chattels in co. York. John de Felton, knight, acknowledges that he owes to William Galon marks; to be levied, in default of payment, of his lands and chattels co. Norfolk. The aforesaid William puts Thomas de Bamburgh, clerk, in his place to the preceding recognisance. Richard le Mareschal, knight, acknowledges that he owes to William 108s. ; to be levied, in default of payment, of his lands and chattels co. Northumberland.
