Pavele knight and Peter de Combe to Walter Power clerk de Spaigne. Joint and several recognisance for to be levied, in default of payment, of their lands and in Kent. on payment, acknowledged by the said Nicholas. of Thomas de Brerelay, son and heir of Hugh de Brerelay, and agreeing that William de Brerelay shall without of him the said Thomas make to Sir Robert de Swillyngton and to his heirs so sure an estate in the manor of Brerelay decease of Maud mother of the said Thomas as he the said has therein; in which manor the said William was enfeoffed who have released their right therein to him in his being and to his heirs, and the said Thomas has likewise release to him and his heirs, whereupon the said William the said Maud for life with remainder to him the said and to his heirs. Dated Westminster, 30 April 46 Edward III. of acknowledgment, 30 April.
