Memorandum that George came into the chancery at London on 24 July and acknowledged the preceding deed. Enrolment of grant by Joan abbess of Romeseye and the convent of that place to John de Edynton of two messuages and 2 virgates of land in Edyndon, which the said John and Walter Sampson lately held of them in villenage, to hold freely and hereditarily. Witnesses: Thomas West, Joan (sic) de Wynton [ia], Henry Peverel, knights, William de Overton, Peter de Pershote, Roger de Haywode, Walter Sampson. Dated Romeseye, Wednesday after St. Gregory, 25 Edward III.
