de Brampton, parson of St. Peter's church, Bristol, acknowledges he owes to William de Haukesworth, clerk, and to Ralph de Houton, of Morston church, 20s. ; to be levied, in default of payment, of his and chattels and ecclesiastical goods in Somerset. on payment. of indenture made between Sir William son of Sir Richard de knight, and Henry le Goldsmyth of Brugenorth, testifying that Membiane 9d ia blank. whereas the said William and Margaret his wife, by a fine levied in the king's court, have granted to Henry the reversion of the manor of Aldebury, which Sir Robert de Bradeston and Isabel his wife hold in dower of the dowering of John Peverel, then Isabel's husband, and of the assignment of William and Margaret in allowance of other lands of Margaret's inheritance, and Henry is bound to William in 60/. by a recognisance made in chancery, to be paid at Easter next, William grants that if Isabel, after Robert's death, renounce the said manor as her dower because she was under age at the time of the assignment, and receives dower elsewhere of William and Margaret, of Margaret's inheritance, and Henry make estate to William and Margaret or to Margaret sole of two parts of the said manor within half a year of the renunciation, and that the king has amoved his hand in case he had seisin by reason of the renunciation, to hold during Isabel's life, then the recognisance for 60/. shall be null.
