Order to allow to John and his fellows, guardians of the temporalities of the archbishopric of when in the king's hand by the death of John de Stratford, archbishop, what they shall be found, by letters of acquittance under Griffon seal, to have paid to Robert de Mildenhale, receiver of the of the king's chamber, up to the sum of 1,0001., as on 20 October 22nd year of the reign the king reserved to his chamber 1,000/. of issues of the archbishopric, and by letters under the Griffon seal the said guardians to pay that sum to Robert. By letter of the seal called le Griffon.
