Order to cause the prior Wolricheston to have respite until Michaelmas next for 30/., which he to the king for the arrears of his ferm, as the priory was taken into king's lands as an alien priory, and the king committed the custody to the prior for rendering 80/. yearly, and afterwards at the prior's showing that the rents, tenths and other profits of the priory from the ferm ought mostly to be levied, are in the hands of others, so he could receive nothing therefrom, and beseeching the king to dishim of the value of the said profits, the king appointed certain heges co. Warwick to take an inquisition upon the matter, by which it is found the profits are for the most part in the hands of others than the prior, retains no more than the value of 20 marks yearly, and the prior that the 20 marks do not suftice for the maintenance of himself and the monks and serjeants of the priory, and for other charges there- By C.
