To all and singular the knights who are about to assemble at Rochester Sunday the morrow of the Nativity by the king's order. Whereas king sends to them Gocelin de Badlesmere and John de Cobeham to to them certain affairs concerning the coming of the knights and their coming to Edward, the king's son, supplying his place England, at London, and the stay of some of them for the custody of sea in those parts, as enjoined upon Gocelin and John by Edward and council on the king's behalf; the king orders them to eive credence to and John in the premises and to do what they shall enjoin upon in this behalf.
