Order to restore to the abbot of Bynedon his and chattels, which the king lately ordered to be delivered to the of Ford by the sheriff of Dorset upon his finding security to them to the king at his will in case he ought to have them, so the abbot of Ford should ordain and dispose thereof, and should find prior and convent of Bynedon their necessaries as should seem fit to discretion and according to the duty of his order, as the abbot of has been lawfully acquitted of the trespass for which his goods chattels were taken into the king's hands before H. de Enefeld and de Bosco, the king's justices appointed for this. By examined transcript. John, earl of Athole (Atheles), acknowledges that he owes to Robert de clerk, 40s.; to be levied, in default of payment, of his lands chattels in Scotland.
