To the treasurer and barons of the exchequer. Whereas lately by reason an error in the estreat sent to the exchequer by John Bek of the fine of marks that Philip de Stanburn and Hugh Bunting made before John the king's use for trespass of the king's money, all the money was from Philip by summons of the exchequer, no mention being made Hugh; whereupon the king ordered John to certify him how much of fine ought to be levied from Philip and how much from Hugh; and wrote back that 91/. 12s. 4d. ought to be exacted from Philip and 14s. 4d. from Hugh: the king orders the treasurer and barons to the first summons of the exchequer from Philip of 200 marks, and charge him and Hugh respectively with the aforesaid sums, and to cause to be discharged of the sum charged upon Hugh.
